The LATI group
"LATI - Federazione ticinese produttori di latte" is a Swiss cooperative society based in S. Antonino, Switzerland with very diverse business activities.
- LATI collects 13 million kg (14’000 tons) of milk from approximately 200 producers in Ticino and Mesolcina (Canton of Grisons). In its S. Antonino dairy factory LATI produces a wide range of high-quality dairy products: among others drinking milk, and many varieties of cheese. LATI also markets Swiss and foreign third-party dairy products on the Swiss national market. Last but not least LATI runs its own retail store located by the S. Antonino factory.
- FELA is an animal fodder company based in Cadenazzo, Switzerland. From 1960 FELA produces and markets animal food and other farming products (fertilizers, seeds, pesticides, etc...) FELA also runs its own retail stores in Cadenazzo and Mendrisio.
- IMFE, established in 1954, has a long experience in pig farming for the production of fresh and cured meats. Piglets come from local farms and are fed LATI whey and FELA feed flour. The meat is processed and marketed in Ticino. IMFE products can be purchased directly at the S. Antonino LATIShop retail store
- "CAGI – Cantina Giubiasco SA" started in 1929 as a cooperative vine growers’ association. In 1986 LATI bought it and turned it into a modern joint-stock company. Today CAGI collects the grapes of more than 250 vine-growers to produce fine reds and whites. As was the case for LATI and FELA, CAGI products are sold in CAGI’s retail store in Giubiasco or at LATI’s store in S. Antonino.
